Tom White is a business-growth storyteller. He is an award-winning industrial designer, filmmaker, and marketer recognized for helping win a $70B contract that fueled a trillion-dollar business pipeline. Tom has transformed companies including Lockheed-Martin, DAF Trucks, Motorola, and Iridium into global leaders.


He created the Master the Pitch program and co-authored the Founder’s Business Accelerator to train cleantech portfolio companies at The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), generating more than $500M in sales and funding toward acquisition. 


Tom founded The Storytellers Institute to train cleantech and BioTech entrepreneurs in programs including those at The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), The National Renewable Energy Labs (NREL), The Net Zero Accelerator, the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2), Greentown Labs, Pfizer, Cleantech Open, and the LA BioStart Bootcamp.


With The Network for Global Innovation (NGIN) Tom conceived the United States Market Access Program to teach Australian growth-stage ventures at the coLab Growth Hub the cultural and strategic frameworks to enable them to expand into US markets. 


Tom innovated The Disruptor’s Blueprint, an instructional video series and workbook that guides entrepreneurs through the process of creating their own strategic compass for business growth in order to secure a market leadership position. 


Tom is an adjunct professor at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California and the International Business School in Brazil, where he teaches Business & Economics, Principles of Marketing, Design Thinking & Applied Storytelling, and Leadership in an Age of Disruption.
